Before the decision becomes expensive

Have someone try to break the case.

Lucas Decision Review gives proposals, plans and presentations an independent adversarial read before they reach the people who can approve, fund or reject them.

The review

A second set of eyes with no stake in defending the draft.

01

Read from the other chair

The document is examined as a buyer, evaluator, funder or other consequential reader is likely to encounter it—not as its author intended it.

02

Find the load-bearing gaps

The review isolates the assumptions, missing evidence and quiet contradictions most likely to change a decision.

03

Return usable questions

You receive a concise written brief: what holds, what does not, and exactly what to ask for before the document goes forward.

The standard

Not editing. Not encouragement. Decision support.

Good prose can conceal weak reasoning. The work here is to test the case beneath the language and identify what a serious reader still needs to know.

Demonstration samples

See the judgment before you buy it.

Each sample applies the same review method to a publicly available source document. They demonstrate the work; they are not client engagements.

    Confirm scope

The fee, timing and deliverable are agreed before work begins and before payment.

  3. 3

    Receive the brief

You get a focused written review organized around findings and the questions they raise.
